Who IS PJ?

PJ Simeon is an award-winning Afro-Indigenous filmmaker, artist, creative writer, and graduate from NYU Tisch Film & TV. She also studied as an exchange student at Waseda University’s School of Culture, Media, and Society for a semester, where she continued to work freelance while in Tokyo. As a boundary-pusher in her own identity, she has found weaving mediums together in thought-provoking ways helps bridge the gaps between cultures.

She is known for her fluid illustrations, visually-engaging written language, and always thinking about the next great adventure.
